A fantasy world, adventure, and legal prostitution, what more could three men want? Interspecies Reviewers follows three men on a journey to visit and review brothels in a fantasy world full of monsters, beasts, demons, and other humanoid creatures.
What to say about Interspecies Reviewers...it's weird, full of cringe, and absolutely hilarious. In all honesty, the main premise of this show is sex and it's all you're going to hear about and see if you watch it, but it's incredibly hilarious and worth watching for the character's reactions alone. There's Stunk, our human fighter who values appearance above all else in his sexual conquests, Zel the elf ranger who only cares about how much mana his lovers have, and finally Crimvael, a hermaphrodite angel who is rescued by the other two and is immediately roped into joining them for their reviews.

Zel (left) and Stunk (right) are two of the main protagonists of Interspecies Reviwers. Zel prefers humans due to their high mana, his favorite being an older woman. Stunk loves beautiful women above all else, especially elves, much to the chagrin of his friend Zel.

Crimvael or Crim, is a hermaphrodite angel who has fallen from heaven. Crim identifies as male, mostly to keep his new friends from getting any ideas, and is trying to get back to heaven after breaking his halo. He works at the Ale & Eats, the bar where Stunk and Zel post their reviews. He is easily embarrassed and often shy.
The animation also isn't bad, I mean of course it wouldn't be, they want to show off all those lady bits, no matter how weird they may be. It's not just that though, it even looks amazing when Zel and Stunk are fighting monsters, which happens every now and then. It's really colorful and everything is just so smooth and well done. The intro song is really catchy as well and I found myself and I found myself bobbing my head to it every time it came on.
Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately depending on how you look at it I guess, it was cancelled after 12 episodes due to Funimation believing it was too much. They were even going to dub it, but backed out after the first episode. I find this strange since it's the kind of show that you would probably cancel almost immediately if you found it to be too much. Yes, it's an ecchi, yes it's all about sex, but it's also hilarious and over the top and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. If this type of show is your thing, then I recommend watching it because it's actually pretty great, just don't do it in the living room.
